Just one cloud floats in the sky above the surface of the Clanger's planet. It looks like an ordinary white cloud like you would see on a summer's day on Earth, but this cloud is quite different. This cloud has a mind of its own and a will of its own. It is very friendly, of course, but it does rain a bit sometimes.
